FEENX- In reading the totality of your letter to your mother- and then reading your reply to her - I see your mother doing the typical JW thing of avoiding answering your questions and inquiries to her which the answers would give you some peace of mind for yourself as her son. JW's always switch the subject into putting us down for what we are doing in our lives ; while avoiding any unpleasant answers which would show them up as deficient. It's all about her in her eyes she doesn't want to face it. So then she goes on and attacks you for trivial $hit. I've seen this in my JW relatives as well. Hang in there friend ! You have people here on this board who understand- including myself. It hurts, but know we care. Peace out, Mr. Flipper

I do know where you are coming from. It's taken me 25+ years, but last week, and this week, my stepdad is finally facing a JC!!

Yeah, I wouldn't leave pictures like that anywhere around, especially if my mom had issues like that.
Secondly, she's definately cares about you in her own way, but she putting the WTBTS before you, even though she's convinced she is putting God before you.
You guys clearly have a trouble past, and the way your mom deals with it may not be the same way you deal with it. So seeing those things may have different associations in her mind then it does in yours.
And, the question I haven't seen anyone asked, you guys know the person that did this to you...has he done Jail time? Did people press charges? Or is he just aloud to continue on freely to commit this atrocity on someone else? This is the most horrifying concept alone.
