EXCELLENT!!!!
This makes me very happy too!!
V's Watchtower Comments videos on youtube are A-1.
The Jwfacts site is the bomb.
And as primitive Dave mentioned Timothy Campbell's Beyond Jehovah's Witnesses site is absolutely fantastic. So down to earth, humble and reflective with no axe to grind. It really is good for an active JW.
There are some videos from a guy named the hopeful athiest that are quite good as well. Even if you are not inclined towards atheism, his logical and honest approach is thought provoking for any active JW and I highly recommend watching and listening to all his youtube videos.
Cheers and good luck!

Remember.......
'' We need to examine not only what we personally believe,
but also what is taught by any religious organization with which we may be associated.
Are it's teachings in full harmony with God's Word,
or are they bassed on the traditions of men ?
If we are lovers of the truth , there is nothing to rear from such an examination''.........

yeah , I know , I should use spell check. sorry.
Crisis of Conscience is where I'd start. Ray's writing is so calm yet so completely devastating. If you think that the size of book might alarm her, you could just photocopy a couple or three chapters. IMO, Chapters 7,8, and 10* are the best at exposing the WTS manipulation and lies.
*In the fourth edition, these chapters are titled "Preditions and Presumption", "Justification and Intimidation" and "1914 and 'This Generation'" respectively
Don't give her too much too soon. After you drop a big load on her, wait for feed back from her. Wait a while for it to settle. Wait and see if she asks for more. You can over load a person.

my presentation of information to my wife led to her leaving me
I'm sorry to hear that, Meta.
I actually got to the point myself where I was willing to leave rather than live with a woman who refused to listen to reason. Of course, we probably wouldn't have split up because of the kids, but you don't have to be physically apart to 'leave'.
Bearing in mind, she hasn't decided anything yet, but she wants to know the other side, and decide with her own mind. That's all I wanted from her. I can't imagine how after finding out the truth about "The Truth(R)" she could still want to believe in it, but maybe she will show me the error of my ways. I doubt it, because if I wasn't sure, I wouldn't have left in the first place ... but I've been wrong before!
thanks for the suggestions. I have of course read most stuff around, but its hard to remember what was just 'peripheral' and what got me at my core in the early days of my awakening. But I will definately start with her getting to voice her doubts, and then read Crisis of Conscience together. Ray, thank goodness, wrote in such a positive, though saddened, tone that I think that alone will shock my wife. She still believes what most of us thought at first - that all apostates are bitter and twisted, manipulating, proud people.

The first site has something about every subject, I think. The second one is very eye-opening about the pedophilia problem. Congrats and good luck.
