NO, but they can certainly make one listen to the message!!! I heard an old experience of a brother, this one comes from Puerto Rico, where the brother went to this house as always, knocked on the door and the householder told him that "nobody is home, talk to the dog". Indeed he did. He started preaching to the dog and after he was done, he asked the dog if he wanted to read the latest Watchtower and Awake magazines and "low and behold", the householder opened the door. Not only accepted the magazines, but also a Bible study. Don't know what happened to him or her after that, but I thought I'd share this one with ya'.

Like he or any other wit really wants to find someone at home, LOL. It's a good excuse though, blame in on Satan and those darn independant women. As one poster mentioned, if they really wanted to find people at home, they'd give up daytime service all together and focus on after dinner service. Period. Good excuse though, sneaky bugger.

I am amazed that my wife who is a womens studies major, who has always fought for a woman's right would even listen one lick to the organization, but she gets me ill when she talks about there only being one truth (translated...only the jws have it correct)

Quandary

I have news for the arrogant CO, in Spain, Italy, and Greece the sisters DO NOT wear hose in the summertime, not even the Bethelites. As for the brothers, they ONLY wear a sport or suit coat when the have a part on the meeting, NEVER in the field service. I know this because I have visited these countries and the branches in each during the summer.
