A friend of mine told me I had a 'present' on the way.
I opened the envelope yesterday to find a Rosary and a little prayer guide. I am not Catholic. He is. I am moved. I have no use for a Rosary, but am very moved by his expression.
I must say - that in all my 52 years, this is perhaps the most unusual gift I have gotten in the mail. I just don't know what I will do with it. LOL

Agreed. It made an impression that is likely to last a lifetime too. I wonder if my mailing 'Truth books' out to relatives when I pioneered had such a positive effect? Nah! Jeff

Hang it from your rear view mirror....seriously.
I have a male friend that has a rosary hanging from his rear view mirror, and he said that since he had put it there, the cops only gave him warnings, instead of tickets. (twice, so far). He said it's probably because they feel he has Christian morals and is a good person.

Can anyone tell me - are all rosarys made the same? I mean strands of 10 beads, separated by 1 bead, repeating 5 times on the upper section. And on the lower section near the crucifix a 1-3-1 pattern of beads?

Yes, unless they are Anglican rosaries. I had one hung over my bedpost as a teen.
