I Am Civilian Employee of the Month!!!

  I was notified of this 15 minutes ago.

  My boss found out that I have an eidetic memory, and is quite impressed that I can tell him who has paid fines, when, and how much. He's a mess!

  I get a plaque, a reservation for the end-of-year banquet, and - if we had such a thing - parking space #1. The best he can do is a space right alongside the highway! LOL.

  I'm so thankful for the recognition. I am a conscientious worker, and I take my job seriously.

  Just wanted to share the heartening news with you good folk on JWD.

  In the classroom, I could read something entirely foreign to the given subject, and if called upon, give an answer without missing a beat.

  Needless to say, I was the envy of many a classmate.

  My boss knows I post on here during working hours. He doesn't mind as long as my work doesn't suffer.

  He's a mess and a gem!
