When I was in grade school
the psychologist told my parents
that I had extraordinary memory
and quite possibly it was
photographic.
After testing over a 3 month period
it was determined it was just very,
very good.
When I would give talks in MS I would
never use notes. Funny thing thing is
I was called on the carpet and got bad
reviews for doing it.
I'll never forget, I was told privately
that some viewed my ability as boastful
and that I should try and repress it.
Jackasses!!!
As I discovered over the years,
it is also accurate over the very long term.
Now in my 50's recall has slowed down
considerably, but eventually it
comes to me.
After all the years of my 30's and 40's
I guess I didn't burn it all out after all.

Jackasses!!!Same here! I NEVER used notes; they were too restrictive.
I once told an elder that I'd memorized all the Kingdom Melodies. He gave me a disapproving look.

I once was awarded employee of the year, I happened to be out that day sick LOL. Go figure any way I got $1000.00 and the employee of the month parking space. Would never have guessed it would be me.

I have the opposite of photographic memory. I have a visual memory deficit. I do have an amazing long term memory though and can remember being an infant too young to stand or understand language except for my name. I know what babies think.
