Are the number of non-JW related Topics increasing at JWD?

We may not all talk about JW stuff, but we all have the dubs in common and I for one, value that. It gives us an understanding of each other that goes beyond strictly religious discussions.
I think that the fluff and banter develops relationships and when dub things do get the better of me, the support and love I get from the ones that I fluff and banter with means a huge amount.

I notice that it is about the same, though political issues are on the increase because of its being an election year. Probably because ex-JWs are humans with experiences beyond having been witlesses at one time. And even witlesses that are soon to become ex-witlesses have other issues other than the Washtowel Slaveholdery.

I guess it's like beating a dead horse(WT),, they are doomed,, the WT will never again have any real increase,, the internet with its free flow of info has arrived. So every once in a while we go over to the dead horse and club it to make sure it stays dead,, one or two bonks on the head and off we go to more interesting topics.

I've found that this is actually quite a good site for non-jw topics. There's good discussions to be had here on a variety of matters. I think that's a good thing. I'm at a point where talking about jw topics gets to be like beating a dead horse. But I've hung around mainly because this board is pretty cool for discussing other stuff too.
