When I first read about the book, I assumed the author was of a different persuasion.

That's what I get for assuming.

Of course - how would anyone else know what white people like unless they're white? That would be sterotyping. White folks hate stereotyping.

I assumed the author was colored as well. A white dude writing this really makes no sense at all . . .

Observing others and telling the truth about their idiosyncrasies doesn't have to be stereotyping, imo.

Of course, I expect some to disagree. Not calling any names, but his initials are JD.
