I know of a couple that just got accepted into the circuit work here in the States,
well they will still need them till they dont need them any more.

My theory (and others' as well) is that there will still be a quasi-CO who will serve as a connection between WTS and the the individual congregations.
there are already "city overseers" now that look after collaberation between congs. A roll like this with less business and more "spriritual" could easily inflate ones ego enough to run to the org about every little thing that goes on....

Sort of like being fired from your job, then "invited" back to do the same work, but as a contractor at half the pay & no benefits.

They really wouldn't miss the CO's visit- it was a pain when I was an elder to window dress everything for his visit.
Amen to that. I often felt like we were trying to create a potemkin village for the CO visit. Unfortunately, somebody would open their mouth about some problem and all hell would break loose. I really did love all my congregations... except for the publishers, pioneers, other elders, their wives and kids, etc. B the X
