Wow! You guys are lucky. I haven't really been to many concerts myself. Just never took the time. But I might start to rethink that policy.
I was actually impressed by Chris Isaac's show. It's kind of like a standup comedy show wrapped into a concert.
A buddy of mine had free access to his company suite in a basketball arena for games AND concerts and invited me once to go see TLC (fan mail tour or something like that). I wasn't a fan of that group, but I was actually pretty impressed with the production that went into the concert. It was a great show.
Probably the most fun I ever had at a band performance was one time at the Fenix Underground in Seattle. The Kryboys (a local cover band) were playing and I had a bunch of old friends with me. It was a great performance and we all had such a great time dancing and jumping to the music. Something about that particular experience probably can't ever be duplicated. It was awesome.
someone said : "Kenny G -- soulful sax"
That scene from Wayne's World 2, where Garth is picturing himself at a Kenny G concert strapped in a dental chair enduring the agonizing pain of a drill penetrating his molars...pretty much says it all for me! -

Stone Temple Pilots June 2008 Houston ( The Woodlands ) 2nd concert ever in my ENTIRE 31 years of life....as you know pretty much all music is bad to the dubs, unless it's instrumental
The first was John Micheal Montgomery again in the Woodlands, that was back in 1998. Here's some pics from STP.....Great show, it's an outdoor place so it has an huge lawn. Show started at about 9-930,so it was nice an cool by that time..........
Judging from the list of people everyone here has seen....I'm waaaaaay behind the curve. I need to catch up on my Salsa/Merengue,Rap,alternative. My first congo was pretty much by the book..dancing and music was watched closely...and it was pretty much all country all the time..and that was about it. Most dubs in my congo were never into the concert thing. I was way too good a dub
