I don't because I don't know any JWs any more. I've convinced a few "studies" to stop their "studies".

I don't go out of my way.
I left a long time ago and don't know any jws anymore, other than my parents. I've battled and reasoned with them for over 20 years about it with neither side gaining any ground and hating the religion and them by association took it's toll. They've been dubs most of their lives, are happy with it, will never leave and will die as jws. Their choice and I have to at least respect that, despite what I think of the religion. All religion is whacked IMO but I can't change the world, so I change myself.
I sometimes engage miscellaneous dubs in service when they knock, parry their pitches with reason and agree to disagree when necessary. Perhaps planting a seed of doubt there is about as far as I go. You never really know.
I don't try to convert anyone from any religion anymore. I just do my own thing.

I don't know if it will ever help, but I ask my paternal unit a question and if he doesn't use logical reasoning, I send it back to him to try again. I tell him to read the question again carefully and explain the fallicy he used.
I hope that by teaching him logical reasoning, he might start thinking critically and independently.

U could try reading Hassan's book and get some ideas from that.
That's my plan but its too soon for me to implement it at the moment. Will let you know if I'm sucessful.

I encourage 'independent thinking, building up WTS library of older pubs & theocratic tomfoolery"

I try to convince them to commit suicide.

Only IF they take the first enquiring step will they accept any help. Otherwise it's futile.

Well the one thing I NEVER do is argue religious topics with them. Never use the Bible to have stupid debates. Never exchange literature with them tit for tat. Its not about that. Its about the way they TREAT people that I emphasize. The contradictions in behavior and what they preach. The total LACK of love in the organization. The depression, the meeting attendance falling off, the police state they force people to live under.
Usually people who are willing to engage in such a convo have doubts and you can plant seeds. But if a JW is not willing to look, God himself will not be able to make them leave.
I got on the internet immediately in 1996 and started my campaign to get people out. I know I succeeded in many cases. I would love to know how many left later after "getting" it. The internet is the BEST way to get them out IMHO. It gives them access and anonymity.
