"or undermine an established government" Do you understand the meaning of the word 'undermine'?

    un·der·mine (ndr-mn)
    tr.v. un·der·mined, un·der·min·ing, un·der·mines
1 To weaken by wearing away a base or foundation: Water has undermined the stone foundations.
2 To weaken, injure, or impair, often by degrees or imperceptibly; sap: Late hours can undermine one's health.
3 To dig a mine or tunnel beneath.

What do you call it when an organization teaches that the established government was established by evil forces (Satan)? I'd say that undermines the authority of the government in question, wouldn't you?

The 'true' message that JW's spread isn't very true at all, is it? How can the truth change? What does it mean when the spiritual food you eat today becomes a bunch of 'shit' because of 'new light'? Could it mean that you are 'truly' full of it?

    The questions are:
    1) Is such explanations of Scripture intended to overthrow the government? No it isn't!
    2) Does it stand the slightest chance of overthrowing the government? No it doesn’t!
    3) Is the way the WTS interprets the Bible on this point a correct interpretation? Yes it is. Whether or not YOU have enough brain cells to figure that out is immaterial.

You read what the "true message that JW's spread" that I referred to ... an you can't deny that I know what I'm talking about.

Could it mean that you are 'truly' full of it?
I know definitely well that you're full of it!

LOL...the Witnesses 'truth' is that no one will be resurrected who refuses the 'refuse' of the WTS. Why would someone want to eat something that is revealed by the 'light' to be 'shit'?

The 'truth' about the Witnesses is that they are under the delusion that EVERYONE who hears their message recognizes it as 'true' and those who don't accept it are knowingly turning their backs on the 'truth'. Of course, the 'truth' that people rejected a few years ago isn't the same 'truth' that people reject today, is it?

And speaking of the resurrection...weren't Moses, Daniel and other men of God supposed to be resurrected during Rutherfords time? What makes you think that JW's know any more about the resurrection today than they did then? I guess you're expecting that to happen any day NOW though, huh? Do you think they'll come to the Kingdom Hall?

What if they refuse to wear suits or shave? Will they be counselled or disfellowshipped?

If Jesus were here in the flesh today, He'd be df'd in a heartbeat. Do you think He'd care?

But the fact remains the the WTS is helping people to understand that there is no such thing as an immortal soul. Why is it that you prefer to sidestep that fact? Your prejudice is showing terribly.

For your information the Scriptures foretell that God's organization would face going through many doctrinal adjustments. (See my "signature" below.

The truth of the matter is that you elected to pursue all the pleasures that the world has to offer, because you took on the attitude that Jehovah asks to much. Well, have fun this Christmas ... and don't forget to admire the Star of Bethlehem (you know, the one that Satan made to shine).

The truth about there being no such thing as an immortal soul, and that the wild beast is under the control of the dragon, Satan, is not "refuse". The dragon has a diadem on each of its 7 heads, heads that parallel the heads of the wild beast. What do you think that signifies? Nothing less than the fact that the dragon has ruled over each of the wild beast's 7 heads. You should've learned at least that much during your tenure as a Witness. But then again, since you've gone into total darkness since leaving it's no surprise that you've lost or become unappreciative of that bit of knowledge.

This demonstrates that you are by no means an authority of 'truth'. You know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about me, my lifestyle, or my attitude. I left the BORG because it teaches LIES. I was moved by Yahweh to LEAVE because they teach LIES. A little leaven ferments the whole lump. Whatever bits of truth they may teach have been made invalid along time ago by their LIES.

(((and that the wild beast is under the control of the dragon, Satan, is not "refuse".)))

Then WHY in God's Name, did the WTS agree to PROMOTE the agenda and agencies of the UN in order to have access to information? WHY did they do this in the AWAKE magazine and then LIE about their knowledge of the nature of that agreement with the Wild Beast? It seems that the WTS has no respect or FAITH in their own doctrines, why should anyone else?
And WHY would the WTS FEED people UN propaganda? I thought the publications where to promote Jehovah's Kingdom, NOT Satans?!?

Can you say HYPOCRITES? You DO remember what Jesus said about them, don't you?

I live true to my faith in God. You can't say the same, because YOUR faith in God is spoon fed to you and can change from one publication to the next.

One thing that stands out in your reply is that you didn't dare attempt to discredit what I said about the wild beast being under the control of the dragon, and one of the ways such can be known. Instead, you merely attempted to exploit my each and every statement for the purpose of pursuing your own agenda. In this case to turn the table around to discuss the U.N. thing. It seems to me that you insist on being unfair, you want me to defend my beliefs only. You say you believe the Bible. You say you live true to your faith in God. So does bin Laden. You assert that the WTS *practices* telling lies simply for the sake of telling lies. In your heart you should know better than that. But you don't, because you left the love that you formerly had. You've descended into the dark corridors of Satan's world, and don't even see that you have. I'll guarantee you that before it was all over for Eve, she knew that she'd been pretty stupid. The day will come too when it will dawn on you that you really did leave the place of true worship just as she did.

Back to the original subject...Did anyone see the piece this morning on Good Morning America about a woman who confessed an affair to her pastor who subsequently told her husband causing a 14 yr marriage to end in divorce. The woman was awarded $65,000. Does this sound like anything that has happened before with the JW's? This is great! Maybe we can get the transcript and the info surrounding this case.

    Yadirf says:

Do you actually think that either I or the WTS give a rats butt what certain people or the courts think of our Bible-based message?

    Joelbear says:

Not sure what you think of the courts, but Watchtower legal is certainly interested in the courts in this country and around the world, even having a tract campaign to sway popular opinion in France regarding them and their tax exempt status.

They care quite a bit, to the point that they are arguing against a law in a small Ohio town regarding even having to register in order to trespass uninvited onto others property over and over again without the homeowner's permission in the US Supreme Court. Yes, I think they care what the Supreme Court's ruling will be.

No, I would not file a law suit. Want to know why? It was MY choice to be a JW, and it is now my choice to live my own life. It's the past, and I wish to leave it in the past. I no longer carry a grudge and wish to leave it all behind. The JW's gave me wonderful things -- I learned who I am and how to live a clean lifestyle. I also learned through it all the greatest gift is freedom. I do not care to hurt others, be it the WT or anybody else simply because I have personal vendettas. I'm over it.

Hey, Joelbear, as you’ve demonstrated many times before, you get what you prefer to get out of another person’s statements. As often as not, something totally different than what the person actually said. Listen carefully now Joelbear, and for your benefit I will say it again; I will walk you through it ... using tiny baby steps so that you can keep up. Here’s the charges that I replied to:

The society has throughout the years used subversive language in regards to the political powers. They have toned it down lately but it still exists. In this time of patriotic fervor it could be a hot topic for the courts. -- Tyydyy.
First off: I showed how absolutely absurd it was to insinuate that the WTS is guilty of trying to subvert the government. (Note that Tyydyy, the author of that absurd statement, didn’t have the courage to contend with what I said. Nor has he shown himself willing to offer any proof to back up the other part of his statement, that the WTS has "toned it down lately".) The WTS has never EVER attempted to “overthrow” any government. Neither has it EVER been the purpose of the WTS to “undermine” any government. If anyone thinks that preaching what THE BIBLE SAYS -- regarding where the governments derive their power and authority from -- is an attempt by the WTS to “undermine” or “overthrow” the governments, then THAT “someone” is in bad need of a brand new brain. They need to be sent through at least another 12 years of education to see if they can be helped. Yes, including Elementary school and maybe even kindergarten.

Secondly: The author of that statement had implied that the WTS was actually afraid of public opinion and the courts of the land with regards to the way the WTS interprets the Bible as to the governments being subject to the Devil’s will. He asserted that he had detected where the WTS hadn’t “used subversive language” as usual, that “they have toned it down lately” … all because of “this time of patriotic fervor”, he said. To say something such as that implies that the WTS is AFRAID of the courts, and of public opinion. There could be nothing farther from the truth. THAT’S the reason, and the only reason, I said that neither I nor the WTS give a rats butt what certain people or the courts think of our Bible-based belief and message. That’s all that I said, not what YOU got out of it, Joelbear. I said that when it comes down to whether or not certain people like or dislike what we interpret the Bible to mean regarding the source of the wild beast’s authority, we could care less. It will not change our beliefs as to how we interpret the Bible on that score. And Tyydyy has no proof whatsoever to support what he said, that the WTS has "toned it down lately". That's a screwball thing for him to have said, and there's no doubt about it!

Now you, Joelbear, took my statement out of context and perverted it to your liking. Look at the proof. It’s here in your reply:

Watchtower legal is certainly interested in the courts in this country and around the world, even having a tract campaign to sway popular opinion in France regarding them and their tax exempt status.

They care quite a bit, to the point that they are arguing against a law in a small Ohio town regarding even having to register in order to trespass uninvited onto others property over and over again without the homeowner's permission in the US Supreme Court. Yes, I think they care what the Supreme Court's ruling will be.
    -- Joelbear.

"Tax exempt status"? "A small Ohio town"?

The board will note that Joelbear took my statement entirely out of context. He’s a nincompoop! Nuff said.
