    To answer your questions specifically:

    >>Who are you specificly?

    Tom Howell
    36929 Row River Road
    Cottage Grove, Oregon 97424
    (541) 946-1231

I am open with this for the prime reason that I want the Organization to know that I WILL speak openly about what I see, and that no intimidation on their part will change that. Only in that way can I truly be free.

    >>What would you like to see accomplished in the short, medium and long term strategic planning?

As in all wars, this is a very large subject that contains many facits. This is a large organization that has years of experience in combating opponents. There is and will be no "silver bullet" that will miraculously take it down with one shot. A combination of offensives will be needed, attacking different points, and they will need to be coordinated. I'll be going into more detail on this in the above mentioned series.

The good thing about this is that regardless of our strength (or lack of it) as individuals, all will be able to have a part in it in one way or another.

    >>What action plans precisely would you have in mind?

Many and varied. See above. Some can be planned far in advance, but we must remember that some of the most effective opportunities are those that suddenly appear before us in the heat of battle. We need to have the resilience and freedom to react to them. That requires all of us to have an understanding of the larger goals. That way we won't be fighting each other or duplicating each other's efforts.

    >>What is your level of committment, and how far are you prepared to take this?

Very deep, and whatever it takes. However, our next steps should include an open discussion of what those goals should be. I think many here on this board have reservations as to whether it would be wise to take it down all the way. Many of us have aged loved ones who have spent entire lifetimes in this organization and that would lose the will to live if it was completely discredited.

This emphasizes the point that a great deal of careful, UNEMOTIONAL thought and planning must be put into this, and then executed with bold, but controlled action. Otherwise, the very little ones that we once were and now sympathize with will be injured if not killed right along with the guilty. Personally speaking, I have no desire to have any part in such an eventuality.

Is this what you are looking for?

I agree, I too have family in there and see no benefit overall in the tearing down of the complete structure, it serves no purpose.

I too am prepared to take this as far as it goes, my level of committment runs very deep too. An apology would be good, I could accept that for all the mistakes that have been made by the organisation, their treatment of their own members and the psychological and emotional, plus other abuses of the rights of all equally.

I would like to go in for the collective legal lawsuit on precise grounds of emotional abuse especially and also the inciting of religious hatred and a fair few other issues.

Overall, it would be good to see them change their teaching direction on many things, then I'd be happier.

Lonewolf - I admire your honesty and willingness to take a stand for your beliefs, but I would edit your most recent post. Posting your address and number could be dangerous more than anything. Please be careful!

    Thanks, Billygoat, for your caring.

However, I've been "out" (in the sense of making no secret of who I am) for many years and have been yanking on their whiskers all that time daring them to do something about it.

I'll be posting a couple of threads in a few minutes that should give you a good idea of what I mean. They will be "Ruminations on the Whole WTBTS Mess", and "Letter to Garrett".

I think you may find them interesting.

    To Celtic:

I'm glad we think alike. I'm hoping that some of the material I'm about to post will help in stimulating the thoughts in your "Think Tank." Sometimes finding a starting place is difficult.
