FWIW, years ago a client said to me that choosing between candidates, for him, was comparable to choosing between broccoli and cabbage:
I don't like either one
Actually this political season is different. While it's true there is still a considerable amount of apathy and cynicism during this election cycle, this campaign is way better and more interesting than the Bush-Kerry "boring-boring" campaign of 2004.
Supporters of both sides are fired up and really believe in their candidates this time around. There's a pretty clear choice in the American presidential race, and for most people the comparison is more like a choice between a juicy steak (their side) and a celery stick (the other side).
