Is it because Revelation says they will go to the leaves of trees for healing?
Oh, by the way, some teachings now say that the Tree of Life mentioned in Revelation is the Bodhi tree. (It's a rare type of Fig; and also that Buddha received his enlightenment sitting under that tree.)

Yea - JWs have a really high proportion of conspiracy susceptible morons.
Before taking any medication (alternative or not), I recommend researching the treatment using as many different independent sources as possible. You will probably be able to learn more about your disease that way than most doctors, and find a course that works better than straight allopathic medicine. And if you still decide to use a medical doctor, your condition will be that much easier to manage if you use natural and alternative medicine along with allopathic medicine.

speaking of quacks, is that elctric universe model popular with JWs? my dad buys into that and think scientists are part of some conspiracy. and thinks nikola tesla wasn't a quack. even thought tesla was later in life.
