Why many "conspiracy theories" can be written off within reason

    what is so discomforting to me in life is that reality is scarier than my nightmares. Life can be far more random than I desire. I am a sci-fi afficionado in many ways. But no Aliens (my favorite movie) scare me near as much as did the nightmarish body of a grasshopper or praying mantis when I was a child. No James Cameron or Steven King can seem as alien as the stuff in my garden. I'm sure glad I'm bigger than they are. I can handle Martians, but a large praying mantis? WAY too scary. Perhaps the thought of a big, scary uncontrollable world is a bit much for us in the end. Life is unpredictable, belief in God or not. Randy

    OK conspiracy this .......how come ,to a casual observer like me ,that a big percentage of people being involved in 9/11 building ownership and the bunglers of the present money crisis seem to be Jewish. muttering ...(just shaved my head and now where's my jack boots)

    Yes, indeed, many Conspiracy Theories are hard to believe when they are first developed. In time, these theories are either exposed as complete and utter nonsense, or they fill in the blanks as FOIA data becomes available, and become proof of a conspiracy, not just a theory.

    All, or at least the majority, of conspirac(y)ies work in the following manner: the folks at the top of the pyramid know in detail what is to be accomplished, and how it is to be accomplished. As one travels from the peak to the base of the pyramidal structure, goals, strategies, objectives, etc, are less understood, decreasingly unknown, etc.

    BA- "Conspiracy", I have learned, is a very misunderstood term.

    On the point of people who 'reveal' conspiracies I would like to go back to the point on the WT structure.

    Ray Franz 'revealled' what was going on in the WT Society.

    Many, even the majority of people didn't want to believe him and so didn't, tarring him with the insult of 'apostate'. To others, it made a difference and they left, but I would suggest that these were the minority.

    People do not like 'whistleblowers' and prefer to believe the lie that is told them by any institution.

    A sad reflection on the laziness of the human mind.

    But once you KNOW you;ve been lied to or conned, what can you do about it?

    Not much, since everyone else WANTS to believe the lies as it is EASIER to do so.

    The sheer horror of thought and belief that the United States Govenment might have allowed or even orchestrated the 9 / 11 atrocity is too distressing to even contemplate. To believe such a thing, to too many people, would be like chopping their own legs off!

    This is what the conspirators depend upon......FEAR!

    One thing that is certain, is that in time, the Truth will out!

    wow, I didnt know that Bush, Chaney, Paulson, Bush the 1st (who helped draft NAFTA), Clinton (signer of NAFTA) and Nixon (who took us away from the gold standard) are Jewish! Thanks for enlightening me.
