What's Your All Time FAVORITE Song? (page 5)

Best song of all time in my opinion is " Stairway to Heaven " by Led Zeppelin. I loved it at age 12 when it came out in 1971 and no other song has taken over my No.1 spot yet since then. The way it builds a crescendo towards the end with Jimmy Page 's thundering guitar work is truly amazing. And Robert Plant sings like he's from another planet ! Incredible ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

There are so many. How can you choose only one? As a little girl, I loved Only Make Believe by Conway Twitty and Gimme Lil Sign by Brenton Wood. A little older? I liked Crimson and Clover the best. I really love Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers because of what it's about and it's a beautiful song and the video was one of the best ever made. But I have hundreds of songs that I love tremendously.

I'll second Stairway to Heaven. Perhaps too obvious of a choice, but it really is a great, great song - perfect from start to finish. Hotel California is right up there too - the outro guitar solos by Don Felder and Joe Walsh are pure musical bliss for me - i never get tired of hearing them.

Nirvana's "Come as You Are" is another personal favorite.

Saw the Eagles here a few weeks ago. Very awesome .......Joe Walsh is crazy and was amazing. They all were, Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Walsh and the other guy, Tim Schmidt. They all sang and played perfection. Anyway, Hotel California was great!
