Nope - havent' watched Dances with Wolves ever, nor anything Western at all lately, except 'The Alamo' a few weeks back.

Yep - I think a tug of war is about struggling to win a battle somewhere - but I don't have any waging that I know of at the moment.

    Thanx all.

Sounds to me like a JW dream.. The Glass windows mean you feel exposed. The woman at the door represents JW's. The 2 thin buffalo are everything you have learned about the jws...(As you described.....thin)....but then they turn into indians and begin fighting you and your wife for what you already "own" a piece of cloth.

The cloth represents everything you have woven for yourself and your wife......and you both are fighting like fury. Tunga is a definition of animals, which may represent the the thin buffalo ideas of the watchtower society. In the end you are fighting to believe what you have learned.

Just an idea....what do you think?

    Tired of the Hypocrisy

The woman represents REASON. Reason is trying to reach your safe place. The Two Buffalos represent the Watchtower Society. Once seemingly powerful as God's Organization, but now thinned down because there is nothing to them like a bag of bones cow. Their transformation into two people who struggle with you symbolizes the BULLY Mentality they use to control your thoughts. The cloth represents your thoughts and free will. Back and forth you will struggle my child until your STRONG Spirit wins over the bullies of the watchtower.

We spend 1/3 of our life sleeping. Dreams are important. The ones that cause you to say "Wow! that was a strange dream" represent valuable messages that you should attempt to really understand. Some images and symbols are universal and some are meaningful to the individual only on some personal level. Dreams are like playing Chirades with someone who can only "speak" to or through you using these images and symbols. It is up to you to try to solve the mystery of the message by fitting your personal life and current situation into the symbol slots.

In this dream, there are you, a woman, two buffalo that transform shape, and your wife. Also important images are the glass house, the vehicle, the door, the hill, and the cloth. The fight or struggle to regain control of the fabric is also important.

"Tunga" is a Zulu word for embroidery or needlework. I don't know if you knew that or not, but if you didn't, "tunga" was a correct definition for the cloth. Your wife joined you in the struggle for the Tunga and she was the person that knew its name and its importance.

Here is my interpretation after contemplating this dream:

The glass house represents your transparency, your openness, and your vulnerability. There is someone in your life that has driven up as close to you as she can and is begging to come into your house (your personal domain). All you have to do is open the door. Buffalo represent power. Something has had power over this woman or maybe you, but it has weakened. It is attempting to climb back up the hill and take control again. I think the Tunga represents the family fabric, that which is woven together and is of extreme value. Your wife understands this importance and alongside you she attempts to fight for the fabric that holds you together. The weakened buffalo get stronger and transform into something you can fight and win over. It's a real tug of war for you and your wife, but together you fight to keep control of this valuable tapestry of life.

It is up to you to look at your personal situation and determine how this fits. Good luck. Let us know what your sister "saw" in this dream.

I was in a glass house

A glass house is fragile. You don't feel secure in a situation.

...a woman was yelling that she needed to come inside because the buffalo were chasing her.

Someone else is seeking the safety of your glass house (or you and your glass house).

...two thin buffalo, ...preventing me from opening the door to the woman.

You notice they are thin, so you don't perceive their threat to be as serious as
healthy buffalo for some reason. But they prevent you from helping her.

A situation you are in prevents you from helping someone. You see that the obstacle can be
    overcome, but it doesn't happen.

...the buffalo turned into American Indians and began a tug of war with me over a cloth of
some sort. My wife was there now and joined me in trying to pull the cloth from the Indian/Buffalo

The fight is no longer about helping the woman, but winning the cloth. The battle is no longer
with the buffalo, but has warped into something else.

...the tug of war ended with me getting control of the fabric from the Indian.

You won the cloth. Are you ready for my theory?
The woman is your daughter. You cannot provide the safety she needs and seeks. Her
problems are not impossible to overcome, yet they are not overcome for whatever reasons.
The cloth is the grandchildren and the American Indians are the obstacles that you have to
battle to have/help them. It is no longer about the woman and her problems, but about them.

    May you have peace!

Please know that no one here can accurately translate your dream, because all such interpretations belong to God, the Most Holy One of Israel, JAH of Armies, who grants such understandings through His Son and Christ, my Lord, JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH. Although I do not know when these events will come to pass but I have asked and, having been compelled by the Spirit, have been granted, though my Lord, the Holy One of Israel, to share the following:

I was in a glass house - or at least there was mostly glass all around.

You once dwelled in a "house" whose "walls" hid what you were. Meaning, you were once dishonest with yourself and others about who and what you were... on the inside! However, you no longer dwell in such a "house," but instead in one that now reveals who and what you are, albeit not completely (thus, "mostly glass"). The "house" you once "dwelled" in was "built" by the false influence of the WTBTS and, as a result, you hid what you truly were from others, as you were taught to do. Because you are trying to come into the Light (i.e., "trying to rebuild a Christian Life without all the lies"), the "house" in which you dwell is now "mostly" glass. It will not become all glass until you allow yourself to dwell in ALL Truth... John 14:6... which results from a "house" built by that "Solomon" - the Holy One of Israel, Christ. Ephesians 2:19-11. It is then that he and the Father will come and dwell in YOU... so that your "house" will be all glass, as opposed to mostly. John 1:47; John 14:23; Romans 8:9, 10

There was a vehicle pulled up close to one of the doors, and a woman was yelling that she needed to come inside because the buffalo were chasing her.

The woman is someone you know (I do not know to what extent)... and who now trusts you (greatly, although I do not know if you know this)... with her [spiritual] life... and is now travelling toward you for help. She is being chased by those who would trample over her; however, she believes she can find refuge in your "house" if she can gain access, because she believes truth "dwells" there. She knows of no other place to run to avoid being trampled. She is running toward you... and seeking refuge in you... because she believes the "truth" you have can save her from being trampled by those chasing her.

I looked down the hill and saw two thin buffalo, and when they saw me they charged up to the entrance of the house, preventing me from opening the door to the woman.

This woman is "running" from the WTBTS, who is seeking to trample her. The two thin buffalo represent the WT and AW which the WTBTS uses to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones. They are "thin" because their "truth" is thin... and wanting... emaciatingly so... such the buffalo appear "starving." Anyone who would eat the "meat" of these would be barely nourished. However thin their "truth," though, they still have enough strength to trample over this woman's [spiritual] life if they can catch up with her and she has come to see that, now. There are some things in those publications, some "truth," that others who are active members of the WTBTS (see below) are going to use to try and keep you from helping the woman to enter your "house."

Then at some point the buffalo turn into American Indians and begin a tug of war with me over a cloth of some sort. My wife was there now and joined me in trying to pull the cloth from the Indian/Buffalo, and she was calling it a 'Tunga'.

The American Indians represent the "family" of the woman... her native "roots." The woman is now the cloth, and the ornate stitching (thus, "tunga") is the doctrines which have been "sewn" into her "fabric"... her spirituality. It is made up of what she has been taught by the buffalo and Indians... and what she knows in her heart to be true (and thus, in opposition to the "stitches" of the buffalo and Indians). The tug of war is between you and her family for her "fabric"... her spirituality... and your wife joins you in the "struggle" for this woman's fabric (spirituality). Together, you two try to wrest the woman from the grip of the buffalo/Indians (WTBTS and her family that is active within it).

I woke slamming my fist into the bed yelling 'Strong Spirit' as the tug of war ended with me getting control of the fabric from the Indian.

In the end, you prevail. By means of a stronger Spirit, the Spirit of the Truth, you are able to rescue her from the grasp of those who would trample and (spiritually) kill her. As a result, the woman's "fabric" will be entrusted to you, for a time.

The question of my Lord to you, dear AK Jeff is, what do YOU do with the woman's "fabric" once it has been freed from the grasp of the buffalo and Indians and entrusted to you? Where will YOU lead her?

I personally and lovingly exhort you to think long and hard about that, and to approach the Most Holy One of Israel through His Son and Christ... and ask for guidance and direction. Do it this way: go TO God THROUGH Christ BEFORE trying to enter - "Father, I am coming to and entering in before You through Your Son"... and use the Son's name: JahEshua Mischajah. Don't do as you have been erroneously taught to do: "yada, yada, yada... in the name of Jesus, amen."). This is because one must enter through Christ BEFORE approaching (because HE is the One that grants such entry)... not make some cursory, rote statement AFTER attempting to enter (horse before the cart). If you do it the latter way, the truth is that you never actually entered because you didn't ask to do so before... and so were never granted entry.

Then put trust in and obey what you hear. Without doubting.

Because... for a time... she will be your responsibility... and you may have to make a reply for where you lead her... or don't lead her

I bid you the greatest of peace... and ears to hear.

Your servant and a [good-for-nothing] slave of Christ,

    SA

Well looks like you got lots to draw from here....bet OTWO is on the button for some reason....lol

The "glass" house indicates and invisible barrier we erect around ourselves from relationships with other people.

It seems you are fighting for something once yours... The buffalo represent abundance and manifestation if you know

how to tap it. The bison are very unpredictable and it can serve as a warning about not keeping yourself grounded

as you begin to work toward abundance in some area of your life..(which doesn't mean just materially) The appearance

of buffalo imply's that the law of synchronicity is operating with in your life at the moment. Meaning to let events take their natural

course and try not to force it. The tug of war is conflict between good & bad, or right & wrong, and in relationships. To be on the

winning side as you are here means that you can achieve what you wish this out come be.

I was in a glass house

A glass house is fragile. You don't feel secure in a situation.

I don't want to change my theory, but develop it more.
You feel that you are transparent to her, not hiding anything.
You admit your mistakes of the past, you tell her what is needed
in the present in order to smooth things out.

...a woman was yelling that she needed to come inside because the buffalo were chasing her.

Someone else is seeking the safety of your glass house (or you and your glass house).

She wants you to help her conquer the buffalo. While you are
unsure if that's the right thing to do, the buffalo prevent her from
entering your transparent rules and you are in conflict on whether
it's your fault that you cannot help her or her fault for not fighting
    off such "thin" buffalo.

Is any of this helping? I don't know exactly how these dream things
work, but I do know that they can reveal what's on your mind.

No Jeffro, I don't believe it is just a random dream. I do believe dreams can have meanings, albeit not primarily in the form of 'vision' of some sort. OTWO may be onto something, as he and I are friends and he knows some intimate matters from within my family situation. [Though to be honest I have been pretty open right here on the board about much of it.]

Regarding me comments in my profile, from which AGuest drew his comments about where I was trying to head in my life, those comments are out of date as we might say. I no longer subscribe heavily to the idea of Christianity, nor religion at all for the most part, though I do consider matters spiritual in my life as important. I need to change that before JWD disapears and I lose the chance.

I found the definition of 'Tunga' to be interesting. Perhaps that was lodged somewhere in the back of my mind, because until the dream I don't recall ever hearing/seeing the word before. But I still recall, several days later, it's central role in the dream.

My sister has not given me her response yet, but I will be seeing her in an hour or so to see if she has one yet.

I have found this entire matter to be somewhat disturbing, as if something is unsettled. I have tended to agree with Jerry, and just yesterday some new developments on the matter of my daughter and the grandchildren came up, though I was unaware it was coming, and certainly Jerry was not aware. So that is interesting.

Wow. Thanx again all. I continue to welcome thoughts on the matter, and don't mean to slight those who have commented that I have not directly addressed. I am reading it all and will look at it again later today for a deeper meditation on things.

    Jeff
