I had a conversation once with Brother Knorr, I was about 20 or so....at Bethel after 'morning breakfast' -- he told me he couldn't wait for the new system so we could go camping together and no one would think anything bad of it!
I was like, ummmmmm, OK.
Is it just me, or does this concept sound sinister to you?
I think it more sounds like a signal of the sexual repression of the writer of the article.

OK so I decided to check it out.
I typed "paradise pleasure" into image search....and all I got was a page of sex kittens and trojans.
Paradise of pleasure does not sound like a garden of fruit. I think you all are just so used to hearing it that it doesn't register when it's "off the mark".
As a JW pioneer I preached "paradise", but I just didn't see it for me, or feel it. So I began partaking, which made more sense, and nearly freaked out the congo. I partook a couple of years, before I saw the Harlot for who she was - Crooklyn.

Re: the "Paradise of Pleasure," I did a google for:

and there's a number of results, and not WT-related...

Evidently the Douay Rheims version (from the Latin Vulgate) uses the phrase "Paradise of Pleasure" at Genesis 2:15, 3:23-24, etc. from the Latin "paradiso voluptatis" and "paradisum voluptatis": http://www.latinvulgate.com/verse.aspx?t=0&b=1&c=3

Ha, I never tried reading Latin before (except medical/legal terms), but this is kinda fun. It sort of sounds like Spanish. In the Douay Rheims for Joel 2:3, compare:
English: ...the land is like a garden of pleasure before it...
Latin: ...hortus voluptatis terra coram eo...
The land (=hortus) pleasure (=voluptatis) garden (=terra coram) ...
Now I wonder how terra coram relates to terra firma?
