I love the ending solo in Rough Boy, great tone. Makes me want to get a Gibson Explorer! To heavy though! And I like Sleeping Bag, and Cheap Sunglasses, all good stuff.

Billy Gibbons tone kicks A$$! His sustain, and use of "false harmonics" is just unreal. You guys got most of my faves. When they do straight ahead blues it gives me chills. And, well, Y'all missed one.....

Avishai, you play? There's not to many to don't play that know about false or pinch harmonics!

I play a little blues slide in open tunings, I'm learning anyway. Fun stuff, but I've always been into sound, tone, technique etc long before I picked up an axe. Fascinates me.

Man, blues slide is tough! You mentioning harmonics though perked my ears up! I've been playing for awhile, but I just got a ESP with a pair of EMG's in it. It's my first experience with active pick-ups that hot. So I've been playing around with false and pinch harmonics. I'm almost at the point of breaking windows!

Nice! My new Carvin CT3 is scheduled for delivery Monday. It's a mahogany body, two humbucker setup so I'm hoping to get some nice ZZ style tones out of it.

Nah, blues slide is easy!! Pinch harmonics are hard. Just put your guitar in open d or g, remember to slide to the fret, not in between, and your set. Couple o' youtube lessons, and your golden. If you have the precision to do pinch harmonics, slide is cake.

Don't like 'em so I don't have a favorite song.
