hehe Each time I try slide it sounds like I'm killing a small animal! Running through some pinch harmonics, I play through a noise gate filter. It cuts the background noise, then just remember where the sweet spots are. I'm really trying to learn the Dimebag squeals!

Tres Hombres (first album?)....... They always played straight up blues better than the commercial Eliminator era stuff... and that was stellar by the way.
I saw them open for the Allmans.. and the Bros came out all drunked up... couldnt play at all and got booed off ....Topp came back out and played 2 hours....

Tube Steak Boogie.
Funny, I was so innocent. I did not figure this song out until I was in my 20's.

I come on this site to gain some intellectual and spritual understanding of the world, and instead I am blown away with ZZ Top videos....Wonderful, every one. I think it is the guitar sound and sheer style that makes it rock...I first heard them with the Eliminator album when they got air play over here.
Just amazing....

Hillbilly, I believe that Tres Hombres was their third album. The first was called, oddly enough, ZZ Top's First Album.
