Kingdum Hall Libraries is suddenly missing books

  about 6 or 7 years ago we had a CO come through and tell us to remove a bunch of the old books. Also to get rid of any books not WT (with a couple of exceptions, such as Strong's Concordance). I managed to keep the dogs at bay for awhile, even having two nearly complete libraries in the second school (one for each congregation). Then some directive from the Borg came down saying to combine libraries or eliminate them...another directive from a CO not a letter that I ever seen.

  So who knows if it is a CO thing or a Borg directive...

  as far as I am concerned, they can all go missing... I still have a bonfire to finish for my yearbooks....

  Anyone else notice the same in the hall that they go to?

  I noticed this sometime ago. My understanding is that the light got brighter so they had to toss old prophecy.

  Besides the inventory for intrepid eBay sellers, there is certainly a sucking sound of literature going down the memory hole.

  The older publications vanishing from the KH libraries? Sounds like something Orwellian is happening!

  It is only some local "thing"; we have all the olde stuff in this area, and I supply lots of people and congs with old stuff according to order.

  Its not too surprising since most of that literature is so damaging in their content to the new converts to view,

  perfectly understandable, also there are people/ elders who might like to have those out of print pieces of literature in their own personal library.

  You would think that anyone already questioning and wanting to research those specific volumes would notice... they are conspicuous by their absence.

  Yes, I noticed that too last time I was at a meeting about 2 years ago. Other old books, besides bound volumens, were gone too.

  my hall had pretty much every volume from mid 50's on!

  some older books were still there
