They seem to really be preoccupied with sex these days. They write more about sex than they do about Jesus. I wonder if all the sexual innuendo between the lines helps to keep people awake! during the talk.
Personally it looks to me like these old codgers who are writing the material are sexually repressed perverts. Or maybe they are just victims of sour grapes.
Here's more sex on the brain from the Nov. WT. The article scenerio is based on frightening a young girl with intimidation and threat of sexual slavery. It sounds like the writer fantasizes about situations to intimidate young girls. CAMEO D- I hear what you are saying. To me, it is so strange the Watchtower society has nothing better to do than make rules in regards to whether couples should have oral sex or mutually masturbate each other. I think you hit the nail on the head - just a bunch of pervy old men on the governing body who aren't getting enough themselves ! So they get off controlling everyone else's sex lives ! I confess that I was always a little bothered by how much they liked David and Saul. While I realize we can't judge these men because they lived in another time and another culture, I could not help but feel that the religion liked them because they were men who were forgiven for major things. Emphasis on the word 'men'.
The impression I got was that they felt somebody who committed murder should be forgiven as long as he was back in the fold and was promoting the religion, etc. Yeah, like as though we should have the person over to the house to socialize and be around our kids. I don't think so! Are these people delusional or what??? So, according to this logic a child molester is like somebody who stole candy. No big deal.
I also have the feeling that they do not want people to seek revenge or justice because they simply like the status quo. They do not want it to change, at least for their lifetime. I wonder if THEY really fear the true God.
They couldn't care less about the well-being and safety of the people in the congregations. All they care about is their secure position and the reputation of the religion.

LONGHAIRGAL- Very true everything you say. How the witnesses can put Saul or David on a pedestal after all they did is beyond me. Then they would want to " hang out " with people like that who murdered, or as you say even molest children ? It is true - the bottom line is they are concerned about the reputation of the religion to the public - not the well being and safety of the members of the congregation. Well put by you

There was not an ounce of humor in what I posted above.
There is nothing funny about the insanity that these parents put their kids through EACH DAY, as part of this deadly organization that they never asked to be a part of in the first place.
