Australia called, and this lil apostate was a snoozing despite the heat. I am also from Melbourne. Greetings to All. Brace yourself for another hot one! (good practice for me, I'll be in India next week).

Ya missed us: it was only 82 F here today; we could have another 90 spell, but I doubt it. We're gettign that gradual fade into winter.

5:00 pm here in Oregon. We are having what is best described as a typhoon. A Pacific storm has been pounding all day. 30-40 mph west wind and driving rain but temp in the high 50 f. Our dogs won't even go outside. Supposed to blow out by morning.
