My house and car are paid off and I have no debts.....I have a great job which allows me to surf the net almost the whole shift unless I'm needed. Basically I'm paid to sit on my ass and do nothing....and I'm well paid for it.

My great nephew is coming home after being in NICU for 9 days. We almost lost James Lee.
I have 3 great kids. My son is brushing my hair right now.
I have a safe, warm and beautiful home.
And last but not least:: I am losing weight!!!!! Finally.

I just returned from the Beauty Salon with fresh new blonde and chocolate highlights in my once drab dull hair .... And it feels so good !
It is a dreary day outside, but the dog is curled up next to my legs for warmth which makes me feel very cozy . After lunch I will finish cleaning the house that always makes me feel good too . -

Well, it is Friday and I do not have to work today (thank goodness for a 4/10 schedule).
I went to the gym and got a good work out in.
And it is going to be 80+ degrees this weekend. I think that calls for a trip to the beach.

I walked up a steep hill yesterday for 47 minutes, two steps per minute - was proud of myself. Then I drove it in a car - it was a mile. today I didn't want to do anything but I've become determined to do something vigorous for at least 1/2 every day. So I put on a cardio dvd adn spent a half hour marching double time with all sorts of little kicks and jumps and so on. It was a serious cardio workout as well as balanced and endurance. So I'm happy I did it. Now a little relief until I have to figure it again tomorrow - climb a hill or do the dvd.

Just being alive if a reason to feel great. Even with all my health issues I thank God everyday I am alive to live another day.
I just turned a few days ago 57 years old and I don't feel in my mind that age I feel young inside my mind and heart it is just the body that doesn't . Somedays I feel like a kid, sometimes I sing my lungs out, other times I sit in my chair and wheel around the apartment with the organ playing and me swirling around the room. I love to go outside, and love nature, squirrel chipmunks cats and dogs. and everything colours of leaves and snow, I have a conversation with my self, I laugh at my self, sometimes I find myself talking to my husband even though he passed away last year. I talk to my cat we have a great time , I love live , I love God I love my Church and my friends. God has blessed me so much . Chirst is my saviour and I shall be in with my husband some day through the Grace of our Lord.
I like the sun the moon and stars. I love the leaves on the ground or also when they are being burned, the smell of fresh cut grass and the smells of beautiful flowers . the ripples in a river or a creek the lakes and oceans , fishes and animals except snakes, sorry but just to slimy. Awe yes food, the diversity of it. People they are truly amazing, everyone has a story to tell. Some sad so happy, I have met some truly wonderful people in this world and forged lasting friendships. What else can anyone hope for? I have a son who is a kid at heart and at 30 I think he will never grow up. I love him so much. Even if he drives me crazy. I have lost the rest of my family but that is there loss not mine because I have a lot to offer and they are losing out not me. Can anyone be more happier than I ? And yes my favourite time of the year is almost here Christmas and I am just a great big kid at christmas time, I love my friends we share the holidays and we share the joy of the season and I love the Christmas carols and hymns we sing in church and listening to the choir and I just love the warmth of the season. May you all have a very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year
