What does "pleasing everybody" have to do with the criticism being dished your way?

So once you "rescue" these folks from the JW's, what do you do with them? Tear them down and denigrate them when they have a moment of uncertainty or pain? If you were raised a JW, I would hope you could have more compassion for others whose formative years were squashed by the experience. Do we pick up and go on and make the best lives possible? Of course. But how utterly self absorbed not to be able to feel for us when we lose our way. Like anti abortion protesters that have zero interest in what happens to the babies born to unfit mothers. Is it that you feel for those you rescue, or that you hate the organization?

That said, you're pretty funny sometimes, and rather sad in this thread. Also, if Seven loves and respects you, there must be more to you than meets the internets.

That is both a false dilemma and a loaded question. It is also a huge and unwarranted insult by comparing me to someone who doesn't give a shit about humans who I have worked so hard to get free of religious bondage. Don't you see the idiocy in your statement? If you don't know what I'm talking about, then do yourself a favor and get educated on fallacious reasoning and arguments, because you are stuck in them. Yeah. He knows me. Personally. As in "IN PERSON" personally. You don't. People who don't know me are the first to assume too much about me and of course, it is always good sport to trash people and their motives whom you know nothing about when you cannot defeat their arguments. You are welcome to trash me if you can defeat my arguments, but not until then. I trash people sometimes after I have defeated their ridiculous arguments. They deserve it. What is the "it" that you don't feel anymore? Please be specific. Are you a vegetable? Do you have the use of your arms, legs and torso? Are you dying of some horrible cancer and in constant pain? Do you have food to eat? Shelter over your head? Clothes to wear? Do you live through part of the day without pain? Can you still enjoy a full moon or a sunrise and sunset? Do you still think you might have a sense of humor? Can you still laugh?

If you can say "no" to even half the stuff I mentioned, then fuck off. You don't even know what a bad life is, you big whiner.

Well, why didn't you say that in the first place? You are miserable and unless I am miserable also, I should fuck off. Whoa! A bit harsh! I was liking what you had to say, wings, up to that point. Everyone who "goes" is missed, even those who have been a pain in the collective keester (or just mine.) Farkel is far from being a pain - but shy of being on the ex-jw messiah pedestal.
Old/young is relative. People who are 32 are considered "old" by people who are 17. To people who are 80, fifty-five seems positively "young." Etc., etc., etc.

Sorry BB, that does sound bad. I actually meant that whatever he can tolerate...go for it....that I don't miss what he writes, and I think other don't either. Not sure how you could get that from what I wrote. I personally enjoy posters who mix it up, young or old. wings (old to most, young to a few)
