In considering this matter it is well to note that Bible writers often took for granted that certain things would be understood, just as writers in our day do. For example, the apostle Paul states, as we read at Colossians 1:16, that by means of Jesus Christ all things were created in the heavens and on earth. But since we know from Revelation 3:14 that Jesus himself was also created, the NewWorldTranslation adds the word "other," which clearly is what the apostle had in mind. But even here, it might be added, that, were it not for the prevalence of the trinitarian teaching that Jesus was not created, it would not have been necessary to add the word "other."

My favorite example of them re-arranging a scripture is Ephesians 4:8.

check the brackets and compare this scripture in the NWT to other translations as well as the WT kingdom interlineir(sp)

Yup. And when I checked that it showed it referenced Psalm 68:18 which also shows they are off base.

Just for JW lurkers on this site who may have swallowed some of the crap in that Q from readers or elsewhere, their is plenty of proof on this site and on the net that the Bible does NOT say that Jesus was "created" in the sense that the WT claims. If you han't time to check online, just get hold of a good translation of the Bible and read that without WT goggles on.

My favorite is how they added the comma to "Truly I tell you today, you will be in paradise with me."

Nice how they change the meaning to suit their theocratic agenda.

Well to me the most obvious is the addition of Jehovah 200+ times to the New Testament, and the inconsistent method which it was done.

THERE ARE NO ANCIENT MANUSCRIPTS THAT HAVE THE DIVINE NAME.....to be restored means it had to have initially been there.......

And I have noticed that they always claiming that they are correcting errors already in those other Bibles. Well then, why are so many of those other translations in agreement with the same "errors", while the Not Well Translated version is not?
