I know a bunch of you go to other sites and seems to have found ones that you like.

The only other one I have seen is JWO (before I found JWD) but hated it because all the threads were about, I don't know, rivalries between posters- almost nothing whatsoever on dirt on the WTBTS, which was what I was looking for...

That's the only other site I know of. I know some of you mention JWS?? What is that? What is the web address?

I'd like to know where some of you guys will be posting

    :)

    Thanks!

I've taken a look at JWS (JW-Support Forum) and JWR (JW-Recovery).

Could you tell me why you choose one over the other, or if there is a different "flavor" to each? Like, are different types of topics discussed more at one versus the other?

Just curious. I suppose I could just lurk a while at each.

JW-Support seems a little more user friendly, topics laid out in a more navigable "JWD" type format. -perhaps it is it's JWD-format that makes me feel at home...

JW-Recovery has bigger avatars, which is nice, as one can see the bright shining faces of Jehovah's happy people in higher res.

I will probably go to both.

    :)

Are there any other forums that folks go to??

I went with JWR because I trusted the mod, having had some interaction with Moxie before she started the forum and having read her blog. Amama2six had just joined JWD right before she started JWS, so I went with who I trusted more. JWS also had some virus implementation issues at first.

I also decided I didn't want to be posting on several boards at the same time, so I decided to stick with JWR. I am a mod there, along with Moxie and her boyfriend who she met on JWR.

I like the feel at JWR... it has active topics, and I like the core members... many are atheist though, so while we are quite tolerant of Christians, we are quite evidence based... some christians maybe uncomfortable with a board composed of about 30% atheists, 20% agnostic, and 7% deist, while only 10% of members are Christian... 25 % claim to have "other" religious views...

As mods, we don't tolerate anyone bashing members... and have blocked a few persons who wanted to make the board a less friendly place....

Don't forget about Kent's Steinhaug's forum! Kent was online with "the truth about The Truth" long before most other JW-related sites came into existence.
