I feel very comfortable with the group at JWR. I like the positive focus of the forum. I struggle with the format of JWS and there is a high proportion of fluff which I can't always be bothered wading though. Not a criticism, just an observation. Fluff's fine if it's what you're looking for.

KUDRA- I have been going back and forth from JWS and JWD now since August - and I highly recommend JWS. Lots of nice posters over there with varying personalities , just like on JWD. But without as much trauma and drama . If you get my drift
MoChat is pretty much a drama-free zone, but most posters are welcome to join as long as I can verify you via PM here....

I have been going to JWS since shortly after they opened, and I have noticed the popups when they first started. That was because they were using the trial version of the server, which the popups were paying for. The ads were selected by the server (the viruses, too). That problem has been fixed as of August 11, so it should be safe to post there now.
I like that it is close to this forum in setup. Also, I am used to JWD's rules--which are similar enough to JWS so I feel comfortable there. And, there is a swear-word filter in lieu of all the [deleted], [edited], and fxxx (with edited reason "Swearing, using hate-speech or making obscene or vulgar comments" at the bottom). All in all, that is most similar in structure to this site.
I have to concur with many others on this thread so far that I like JWS site so far. It seems to me the one that most from this site have headed to or on the way there after this one closes. I see many familiar names over there. I post on it and this one till this one closes shop.
And as already pointed out the virus issues was no different than what happened to many other sites at around the same time that had pop-ups. It was not due to JWS site in and of itself but was a result of the advertising pop-ups that the free server trial had running to pay for the site. It has since been resolved and is a paid site with no pop-ups.
I really like the feel of it so far. Fairly easy to navigate and has a list of the most recent topics being posted too.
Hope you find one that you are happy with.
