That's a good question you little red dot. In the witnesses atleast there was the phony perception of folks who cared. One could easily see after being shunned that this had no substance. I think in many ways the world is a very lonely place because the truth is, we are creatures of many needs and have different defintions of caring, some of which are very sick indeed.
I think someone who is famous realizes once there money drys up or they make a public faux pas, there so called buddies will disappear like David Copperfield.
Even relationships get tested when certain financial problems occur. People are fickle and many very shallow. That's why although I live like a hermit, It doesn't bother me that much, because humanity is messed up. I've seen it all. The sad thing is I could have been a very good freind for anyone. I don't judge and I'm not competitive, but most, family included, saw me as a mark or someone to be used.
I could be wrong, maybe I've just been on the wrong side of the tracks for too long, but for the most part, I find humanity to be unfair and selfish scum. I heavily question motives when someone is being nice.
I probably get along with best, the people who have been through the similar crap as me. The outcasts. This board is full of them, but even then I keep my distance. As a rule I just want others to treat me the way I treat them, but that just seems too much to ask. To hell with it! I'm getting to old to be stupid.
That's why people join cults and religions that love bomb. Love is an essential human need and sometimes our needs overide our judgement.
The statement, if you find one true freind in your life you are very lucky, I have found to be a big truth.

I dont think so!!!!so many folk in the world screw up!( I have on many occasion myself) If we wait for folks to EARN it !! I dont think it could be done.
Of course I KNOW that folks that dont have a Faith.. Think it should be earned ...but if I had to EARN it with GOD I would be a lost soul..... believe me....
The reason I forgave Trevor was he returned the money >>>plus more.....He aplogised... So I covered my butt! Because MY GOD said If I dont forgive others I am not forgiven ....I have done enough in this world to WANT to cover my butt!!Selfish ??????You bet your ruddy life I am....
