I know what your gonna say now. If everything was bolted down, how did you drink the water?

Your right, I had to compromise. Luke always liked the whole unit, floating over to him, when he wanted to apply his hair remover. Fortunately, the glass was glued in place when I was drinking. You just have to steady it a bit.

If only I could get Luke, to cut the grass somehow........... A lawnmower that can harness Lukes Ectoplasm!.... Hmmm. Is that scriptural? Didn't the Israelites have to unyoke their mules at certain times? There must be some kind of concession, for an ectoplasmic harness!

    Hi, PEC

Thank you for teaching us interesting translation.

The comment of 1 Peter 4:6 of that translation was interesting.

But I am a person who thinks that the "literal interpretation" of the Scriptures is wrong.

When I posted this site ,,,I also sent it to my friends of whom Jim Penton is one. I received the letter below from him. I thought I would post it as I do not want to lead folks astray So here goes

Hi Grace, The Bible on one page is a great development, and the people who were responsible for it deserve great credit. I am only saddened by the fact that it was the NIV that was used rather than a more doctrinally neutral translation. In many ways, although written in better English, the NIV is as doctrinally dishonest as the New World Translation. I really wish translators would not try to help the Holy Spirit "improve" the "word of God"! Jim

    Thank you, dear Grace.

I've added it to my Favorites.

In appreciation for this, here's one of the most appealing passages of Holy Writ. This is how the Apostle Paul felt about the Philippians, and how I feel about you.

Philippians 2:1 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
