In case anyone missed it, I used to feel guilty if I had a "bad" thought about JW teaching while I was in.

Let me reiterate: Now, I laugh and shake my head at the idiocy of it all.

SNOWBIRD- I bet lots of teachers are glad to see various JW children get out of school ; especially if the teachers have had to put up with the superstitious teachings of the JW's for any period of time and having to make exceptions on behalf of witness kids - taking time away from their real job - teaching . Don't feel " guilty " for seeing the lunacy of it all - just feel sorry those witness kids are so " mind controlled " . I know how ya feel - makes me shake my head constantly as well ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

They went on and on about how they didn't participate in certain aspects of the graduation traditions because they'd done research and found some to originate with paganism. They claimed that even marching into the auditorium and doing a sharp turn arose from some occultic practice

Yes, and it's usually "superfine" Christians like these that are the biggest hypocrites......I knew sisters like this where they wouldn't say 'shit' if their mouths were full of it (and were constantly ratting on me for swearing), but it came to light that they were going to bars, getting bombed, smoking and getting laid several nights a week although they always made sure it happened earlier on in the evenings so they would be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for Field Circus the next morning.

Now that I'm out and can look back clearly, I see what you mean.

A non-judgmental question I've been wanting to ask you: WHERE DID YOU LEARN TO CUSS LIKE THAT?

I remember being in elementary school and constantly praying for forgiveness for bad thoughts. I was a kid, for Pete's sake! Crazy ass cult.

Trainning up your kids to be a mental pin heads is really not helping them, if I could go back in time to kick my own ass I would do it.
