all you did was arouse the curiosity of everyone to know who it is. This persons closest friends can look after them, It's a rather private matter. do you need help and support from the board yourself to get through this ordeal? I mean really, why did you post this? purps

Bad drama....
i agree...it is a very bad drama if it was only a drama....but it is real life. when we make friends here on jwd, sometimes we become real friends....even if we have not yet met in person. i realise this is not always the case, but i had had a recent thread on "just how close can you get here on jwd?" or the like.....well you can get damm close......and i wish i could help my friend....some drama eh shamus....real friends of yours here may want to help you in a similar situation..........................oompa

purps...just read your post...i often post and often do not know why....and people...including me can be curious as that is human nature. but i find it interesting and odd that people would fault me for caring about a JWD-only friend that is in trouble...and that i can not help is a troubling feeling. this is an even smaller club that the Big Worldwide Brotherhood.....and yes, we too can really care about our JWD brothers and sisters (that last part put some icky stuff in my mouth)......but you get the point........oompa...and

OOmp..if you didn't have backup from Blondie I wouldn't have believed you either..you do tend to tell some unbelievable stories you know...the little boy who cried wolf?
You are entertaining tho...
I hope that it is nothing serious and he/she gets out real soon. If it was something serious I hope justice is done in a timely manner.
My ex son in law has been in jail for several years now and he is getting out in January..he will then go to a halfway house for 6 months...I hope he behaves when he gets out.
It's funny because he is one of the nicest guys you could know. He takes care or did take care of all his family members..supporting them and giving them places to live..nice guy right? But he made all his money by drug trafficking and money laundering..he was wrong and deserved what he got and when he gets out I am sure there will be people looking for him as he squealed to get a lighter sentence.
But he was such a nice guy no one knew..or at least I didn't...I was shocked when I found out. So this person you are talking about may seem like a really nice person that doesn't deserve it but you never know..I hope in their case that that is true and they are innocent. If not I hope justice is done.

Oompa, I hope whatever is going on that true justice is served in their case. Sometimes the consequences are harsh, but sometimes they need to happen, for whatever reason. My son did some dumbass thing when he was a kid, we let him deal with the natural consequences and he has been straight and narrow ever since(cept for his driving).
Good luck and I hope that all is well, people you care about are safe and your mind rests easily tonight when you go to sleep. We do what we can and let things go that we can't change. Encourage your friend to be wise and not sabotage himself/herself in their anger or fear.
