Here's our 9' tree. JW wife helped decorate it. (She did a great job!)

What's with the moon face hanging on the wall? Aren't dubbies afraid of those too? (old Proctor & Gamble related? satanic?)

I think she really enjoys decorating the house with Christmas cheer. She picked out the green and red dinnerware for my "worldly" family coming over for our big Christmas feast on the 20th. Stockings hung by the fireplace. Halls decked with boughs of holly. Lights strung around the house. It's starting to look alot like Christmas!

Yes, she has her own Christmas stocking too ... and it will be full of goodies on Christmas morning. Presents with her name on them under the tree as well.

I still have mine set up from September 2007--having left it up all summer. And I strung up the LED lights by running them from the base of each branch to the tip and back (you could run it along some or all the branchlets if you want even more lighting). This gets light into the center.

I also have ornaments all the way into the center. I save the crap ones (the tackier ones or those which are slightly damaged) for this, because they are harder to see the flaws of near the center. It creates a 3D effect that cannot be captured effectively on a photograph. The good ones are near the exterior, giving it the full effect. In fact, the tree is so tall that, if it were any taller, I wouldn't be able to fit the color-changing LED star on top.

I haven't put my tree up yet, but when I do I'll take a picture. First I have to make room by throwing out a loveseat that my bird destroyed. I wonder how he'll react to the tree. Either he'll be terrified by it or he'll destroy it too.

Wish I could have one! I thought of getting a tiny one and having it in my closet! Would Santa be able to find it?

Our tree isn't up yet because we always get a real tree. This is our tree from two years ago. It will pretty well look the same this year.
