Do the Witnesses believe that their religion is the only right one?
Anyone who is serious about his religion should think that it is the right one. Otherwise, why would he or she be involved in it? Christians are admonished: "Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine." ( 1 Thessalonians 5:21 ) A person should make sure that his beliefs can be supported by the Scriptures, for there is only one true faith. Ephesians 4:5 confirms this, mentioning "one Lord, one faith, one baptism." Jesus did not agree with the modern, relaxed view that there are many roads, many religions, all leading to salvation. Instead, he said: "Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it." Jehovah's Witnesses believe that they have found it. Otherwise, they would look for another religion.— Matthew 7:14 .
Do they believe that they are the only ones who will be saved?
No. Millions that have lived in centuries past and who were not Jehovah's Witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life. Many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness before the "great tribulation," and they will gain salvation. Moreover, Jesus said that we should not be judging one another. We look at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart. He sees accurately and judges mercifully. He has committed judgment into Jesus' hands, not ours.— Matthew 7:1-5 ; 24:21 ; 25:31 .

So, it's no longer necessary to be a JW to be saved?

    Nope old light, standard doublespeak:

Many now living may yet take a stand for truth

That means many now living will never die become JWs before Armageddon.

So only JWs will survive the JW armageddon.

Just because they say No it don't mean they mean no this is a case of no meaning yes.

The answer is in what's said after the NO

"No. Millions that have lived in centuries past and who were not Jehovah's Witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life. Many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness before the "great tribulation," and they will gain salvation."

So reading it they are saying if you are dead then you have a chance to come back and be a JW, and it's also saying if you are still alive you might become a JW

So as normal No means yes lol

This is applied only to non-JWs. They are encouraged to examine their own religions. Acts 17:11 in speaking of the Bereans being nooble minded for examining apllies (according to the WT) to nonbelievers. Once one accepts the WT the examination stops.
Do they believe that they are the only ones who will be saved?
No. Millions that have lived in centuries past and who were not Jehovah's Witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life.
Those who died NOT KNOWING the WT way will be brought back with a chance to adopt it in their lives.
Many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness before the "great tribulation," and they will gain salvation. Moreover, Jesus said that we should not be judging one another. So, it's no longer necessary to be a JW to be saved? And of course no one knows how many will embrace WT doctrine. Same crap.

SACKY this is a ball that they have been tossing back and forth for long time now, part of course is self promotion toward themselves, which you can

expect. I can't honestly say that they have come out and said that only the people that keep within their organization will have a chance of salvation.

It seems they may have changed this mantra from decade to decade though.

When come right and say that we are the only spiritually guided organization of god , just as many other religions are saying well what do you expect.

Every Christian religion has a marketing strategy behind and driving it.

    The futility of power !

I think there was a question from readers decades ago that said some non-Witnesses may survive Armageddon and that Jehovah would make the final decision.

Since then it seems Jehovah has been demoted however and they have decided for themselves that only Jehovah's Witnesses in good standing should survive though.

Even the children of worldly people will be destroyed according to the governing body.

They have always believed that if you die before Armageddon you get resurrected. If you are alive when the Big A hits your only hope of survival is to be a JW.

There is nothing new in this article. Notice what they say:

Many now living may yet take a stand for truth

A casual reader may not catch what they are saying. However, from their perspective truth = watchtower.

When you think about its one of their headline doctrines to cull people and to get those ones to support them $$$

If you ask any JW why they joined this religion the majority will respond with " So that they will have a chance to make it through Armageddon "
