Had a really nice time... but I'm pretty disappointed in the ICA... The space is sterile... bad accoustics... more like a gallery than a museum. We could barely hear eachother over dinner due to bad design.. Lots of architects in the group, so you can imagine the discussion... they notice every detail. Amazing view of the harbor though...even in the dark in the rain.... The museum cantilevers out over the water.....
One down, one to go... Hope the weather is better for my Company's party on Saturday. I'm getting sick of this rain...

Ours was on at 7pm Friday but I was on duty with 2 other blokes doing the nightshift ...so........at 7am we went down and had the left over beers.....and I still made it to work the next night....we had fun....What! I dont drink in the morning! It was nightshift.....dont judge me!

Not only did I go, but I helped prepare the food that was served. 250 10oz. Ribeyes and 250 6oz. chicken breasts on 4 large charcoal pits all while enjoying Crown and Cola. Lots of fun.

I dodged em for ten years at my last staff job with a public utility company...
The little association I work for now... to cheap to host such a thing... we dont even send out X mas cards to clients.
Went to the wifes' company thing... nice little dinner... small talk with folks I dont know or have much in common with socially. I am partially deaf in one ear for certain pitches... big rooms and lots of conversations going on...I dont catch a lot... so I dont talk alot.
I love my wife... I go... give a knowing nod when lips move in my direction, eat and leave ASAP (lol)

I wonder if I have a similar problem with hearing. I should get tested. I've always had a problem losing track of conversations. Even in a restaurant, a little background music makes it very hard for me to follow conversations. I'm always asking people to repeat themselves, and I'm sure they're getting sick of it.

FF... thats the bad part about this kind of hearing loss... I can pass standard tests. Put me in the woods... you cant sneak up on me. Quiet house...good to go.
I hate it but I geuss I will tolerate it.

Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I do Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pedro begged.
"But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon."
replied Rosita.
Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me."
Rosita looked at Pedro and said, "OK, one time, we'll do Weeweechu."
Pedro grabbed his guitar and they both sang.....
