I am old enough to have experienced the whole Beatles invasion. Thank you, big sister . When I was a little girl, I used to hear this Beatles song and daydream about some handsome man feeling this way about me one day. Well, this is John singing lead. God, what a soulful voice.
I recall four years ago or so, Andy and I were looking through a box of family photos. I picked up a picture of me when I was in second grade. And at that moment, this song came on the radio. I looked into those young eyes and realized that it was that little girl who found romantic dreams in this song.

The Who - Love Reign O'er Me
(One overcast morning, I had some solitude before work. I took my coffee and listened to this on my back balcony. My spirit soared. This song is so beautiful. What a view I had from the third floor. Spectacular. Something so simple, yet such a powerful memory.)

I love the Godfather of Soul, Homer. Which of my songs did you like? The Beatles or the Who?
I saw George Harrison in 74 on his Dark Horse Tour. It was one of the most amazingly magical events of my life. We sat behind the stage and were within feet of him. He turned to us and apologized. Ravi Shankar and his orchestra as well as Billy Preston performed with him.

Well actual my first record I ever bought was a 45 of The Beatles with Twist & Shout one side and I Love Her on the B. side
I was just 8 at the time and that got me hooked on the Beatles, I actually like both those songs but I would say The Who song.
Its funny that most teens now days don't know what a 45 is
How about some Otis Redding
