I saw the greed several years ago and took steps to protect myself. I didn't have need to belive in conspiracies and magical hogwash to get my affairs in order.

I have read every conspiracy out there, I've watched the videos too. I am not impressed with any of it and I refuse to be frightened by it.

You, on the other hand, reek of fear. You are floating in a sea of it. I suggest you see a doctor to help you with your overly sensitive ruffled feathers.

I suggest you start by reading/researching Jewish authors/activists who have also researched these things and who are very aware of how all "regular" Jewish people are being set up for disaster, along with the rest of us Gentiles, minorities, Christians, elderly, handicapped, mentally ill, etc. (Anybody they deem unfit and unworthy is on their "global hit list," so to speak). And how these same bold, brave Jewish people are not sitting around whining like children, the way you are, but are helping to expose the culprits and educate their fellow Jewish brethren and everybody else about what is going on.

Are JWs always left with these scars of the response programming.....avoiding the issue by focusing on a non-issue like a typo?

I think it's called straining at a gnat to swallow a fly or something like that.

Divert attention from the matter at hand by focusing on something trivial.

I have noticed JWs do this a lot.

And there you go, getting distracted and avoiding the issues. As I stated, the reason it matters is because if she can't be trusted with the small details, why should I trust her to notice the bigger ones?

But, by all means, ignore the rest of my message to Abbagail, focus on the minutia, and think whatever you want because you're a couple apples short of a pie yourself.

This story presents an interesting point. The money system was sold on convenience, rather than value or efficiency. One using money has a store of trade value that is widely recognized and can be redeemed in a wide variety of transactions. That is convenient, since not everyone wants brownies. The convenience comes at a cost. The transaction value is set by the money issuer, and in many places that money has a monopoly of a government or private central bank. The issuer then has the ability to control value, and extract value from the transaction in a hidden form. Pure barter bypasses that control. I know that the IRS has leaned heavily on barter clubs so as to maintain some of the control that the money system permits.

New converts to what? To JWD? To Christ? To the Watchtower religion?

Evidently you don't appreciate truth either. You will find LOTS of company around here then. The "broad and spacious road" comes to mind.

It really doesn't matter how many people do not like the message... and you can try to zap the messenger(s) all you want, but it doesn't change what is true. And it won't stop people who know and care about these things from continuing to speak out on these subjects, myself included. Those who have ears to listen will. Those who don't, won't.

You say you've already done your homework. Then you must have read THEIR OWN literature, THEIR own plans, THEIR OWN documents, goals, outlines of what they have planned. They are the ones who believe in "magical mystical hogwash" based on the ancient "Mystery" religions of Egypt and Babylon.

As for conspiracies...the Word of God speaks of conspiracies, conspirator(s) over a dozen times, so it's not some far-fetched idea.

It is not fearful at all to know and understand reality. It might only be fearful to anyone who doesn't understand what is happening or why, and/or where it is taking the world in the future.
