We don't have black ice but it looks scary on Youtube....we do have Aldi in Australia!.....cheap groceries I was their today!

I don't believe it! That's impossible. All our fellow drivers are courteous and know how to drive carefully in less than perfect road conditions.....

The ice is gone for now. It's 46 degrees and raining. So much better, feels like California weather.

is accelerating into the slide.
It's been years since I drove a manual on ice. With an automatic, I take my foot off the accelerator and gently steer my car back into the direction I want it to go. No breaking or gas, just gentle guiding. Breaks should always be applied gently and with plenty of room to stop in case of a slide.

Where I live..From late fall to spring,ice and snow is all there is to drive on......Rule number #1: Drive slow.....If you slide off a mountain road here..They may never find you until Spring...........
