Seriously, study the Early Church Fathers. Mention how the WTS always said the book study was like the Early Christians, because they met and studied in private homes, blah blah blah and now the WTS has abandoned its only supposed tie to the Early Church. So take time to study only things written in the first 200-300 years, to see what the Early Christians really believed.

Seriously, like many others, I don't think my wife will do much if any personal study. Perhaps, William Barclay's commentaries on John are a possibility.

Chickpea - aren't the Witnesses already learning the language of truth?

I would go ahead and get a Bible, complete with as many of the gnostic texts and apocalictic books as you can dig up. You can dig them up online. Study these, and at first try to find the blatant discrepencies between the Bible and the Washtowel littera-trash. Once you do that, you can try to find all the teachings of Jesus himself and see if you can find inconsistencies between those and what the apostle Paul taught, and between Jesus' teachings and God's from the Old Testament. You will be amazed at what you might find.

How about suggesting something "different". (seriously).

Like, studying the Watchtower history, starting with Russel.
