Confucious
I know Tony Morris pretty well.
He's a good guy and he's gotten a lot of grief with his father when "came into the truth."
I do believe he's a good guy.

A
IN THE early morning hours of Thursday, January 23, 1975, John Otto Groh ended forty-one years of devoted service to Jehovah his God. To those of Jehovah’s witnesses who knew him, he will be remembered as a man of single purpose. He was born at Kulm, North Dakota, on July 3, 1906, and as a young man became a university-trained research metallurgist. Then, in April 1934, he was baptized and eight years later he and his wife Helen began devoting their full time to the publishing of the good news of God’s kingdom in the area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They became members of the Brooklyn Bethel family in 1953, and Brother Groh in time became the chief purchaser for the Watchtower Society. He was a member of the world governing body of Jehovah’s witnesses. Many will also remember Brother Groh for the key part he played in supervising many large assemblies of Jehovah’s witnesses in New York and elsewhere. At the Memorial service held in the Brooklyn Bethel Kingdom Hall numerous business acquaintances were among those present to hear about the happy hope that this friendly man of single purpose pursued. As the speaker on that occasion said, Brother Groh had come off victorious by his faithful course. (1 Cor. 15:57) Of him, along with other anointed ones who complete their earthly assignment, it can be said: "For the things they did go right with them."—Rev. 14:13.

On the subjects of converts...... I have found that converts want the truth to stay the same, because it makes their choice to join the WTS more valid, while born-ins and significantly raiseds who have lifelong experiences of the personality ebbs and tides of the WTS are more apt to not hold too dearly to doctrines beyond the core three.
Daniel Sydlik..... raised more of less (His life story is found in the June 1985 WT)
Lloyd Barry....born-in big time!
Karl Klein is one of those special cases where he (11 years old) met the IBSAs in 1917 and was baptized in the spring of 1918. His family was Methodist (father was a preacher) but his mother apparently was okie dokie with him attending elsewhere while his father was away traveling. I am really torn here. He clearly converted, but being such a young and impressionable age, and with a father who was only home for just a few days three or four times a year i know he was seeking and receiving male attention, guidance and approval from local brothers.....thus in many ways being 'raised' by the local brotherhood.......

Grant Suiter- late 'influenced', starting attending meetings at 14 (1922) with his family, his family dedicated in baptism 4 years later in 1926.
Bert Schroeder - parents were Lutheran, but maternal grandmother and her sisters associated with the IBSA during WWI. She studied with Bert in 1923 (he was 11/12years old) using the "Harp' book...... so we see another who was 'influenced in his pre-teens' but was not baptized until 1932.
Bill Jackson ..... was baptized at age 14, not sure of family ties to organization.

I saw the name Greenlees in one of the booklets published by the Edgars in Scotland. Perhaps a relative of Leo? He definitely had a Scottish brogue.
