  I am in "the club" so to speak. I would prefer that it had not been done, but no one asked me. "Restoration" techniques are time consuming and require a great deal of personal discipline. I have had limited results. I find it odd that some females worry about a foreskin being dirty when in fact it is much easier to keep clean than what they have. Are you saying that women are inherently more likely to keep themselves clean than men? If your partner is dirty, tell him or her to clean it up.

  Circumcision prevents HIV transmission? Tell that to all the circumcised men who have contracted AIDS and passed it on to their partners in the United States. A circumcised male may be less likely to contract HIV, but it is still a game of Russian roulette. The only proven preventative is abstinence. The next best alternative is a trusting monogamous relationship. Sex with unknown and untested partners is just plain stupid, circumcised or intact.

  All true Dave, but the fact is that it does reduce the rate of transmission and as such has a prophylactic effect. There was a New Zealand study, if I recall that showed this. I can search my email history and show you if you are interested.

  I was skinned at age 41. I got an infection that likely originated under my foreskin that eventually led to a kidney infection. Nothing like feeling blinding ice pick pain in my back. I asked how I can prevent this again. He suggested circumcision. I objected. He stated it virtually eliminates cancer of the penis. I was sold

  Have you guys watched the Penn & Teller Bull$hit episode about Circumcision?

  I'm not sure if I can link to the episode, as it is NSFW (language, subject matter, etc).

  Did you know that studies show that women that have uncircumcised partners have higher rates of cervical and breast cancer? Neither did I. The relevant info is at that site.
