When I was a witless where in the hell were these freinds when I needed a roof on my house?? The only people that showed up to help were my worldly family and two others that I didn't even know. How in the hell is that for freinds?

The friendships I had in the borganization were very toxic and unhealthy.
I don't have millions of friends now, as I supposedly had in the borg, but the ones I do have are normal people.
Of all the things I went through because of the borg, the toxic friendships are near the top of the list for the most psychologically damaging. Took me a long time to heal myself.

Oh, my... what wonders still await you! Yes, yes indeed... some folks are purely wonderful, and yes... they can be your friends. You have much to look forward to. Be patient and be good to yourself. Healing comes bit by bit.

They also say that 'worldly' friends will try to pull you away from going to meetings... I have heard on stage before quoting a potential 'worldly' friend (paraphrased) "Let's go out tonight, you can miss a meeting just this once, let's go out and have fun instead"...
I NEVER had a 'worldly' friend ever try to talk me out of a meeting while I was still in. They simply respected it and we would pick another night. Ironically these are my true friends who are still there for me today.
