Of course, I don't know her personally, so maybe she had some real good excuse (and it better be real good, too, to justify that behavior). But in my opinion, if someone doesn't treat you well early in a relationship, they are even less likely to treat you well later on. In most cases, early problems should be red flags that the relationship isn't meant to be.

Alternatively she might have just got scared - but that's no excuse for not turning up without any explanation.
