Arson is never right. The article says that the windows were smashed at 2 AM, yet it says those inside were safely gotten out at 9:50 AM. I would think they would have noticed the damage to the hall if they arrived to use it that morning.
Anyone close to this hall?

I am not close to the area, but I know a few people over there and I have been to that Hall, It is very close to houses. It was rebuilt a few years back but there has been a Hall on that site for decades.
It does seem odd. If you had broke in during the night, why come back in daylight to start a fire? That is just the time that the dubs would be arriving for Ministry..Who were the ones "safely evacuated?" If they were in there they would know about a fire?
I will ask some people I know..
I do see that the local paper was talking about another fire in the town, perhaps there is a pyromaniac?? Who knows? Or perhaps the paper got some of the facts wrong
