It was brought to my attention, how Jehovah's is blessing the new arrangement

of re-assigning of Bethel family members (more like fired members).Ex."For example,

a single sister,Jessica, visited her assignment and spent two futile weeks looking for housing.

The day before she was to return to Bethel to pack her things, she was overjoyed when a local

elder offered her a small house that she could rent for a modest amount."

Do they encourage single sisters to apply to Bethel?

What gives,a single sister assigned to a congregation and no one puts her up.

She has two weeks to find a place come hell or high water, because sister your apartment

at Bethel has been sold.So come back and get your things or they will be in the garbage.

The local elder is in the renting business, why is he not simplifying his life.Yet this elder

will get on the platform and talk about materialism. The big question is why did the local

elder wait for two weeks before offering this single sister a place to rent.God almighty,

the love and compassion this local elder showed this sister and takes money from her.

I am sure the sister saved a lot of money while she was at Bethel. Now why would the GB/FDS

print such story in their yearbook. What point are they trying to make?

The poor sister, spent two futile weeks looking for a place to stay and this selfish local elder

has a house for rent and does not tell the sister. With the economy the way it is,he could not

rent his house. So why not get some money out of this poor sister, shame, shame, shame local

    elder/GB/FDS.

In their rush to show how they are blessed teh GB/WTS has tunnel vision. They see what they want to see and that usually means not seeing the huge gaping holes in their stories. They don't see she had to wait until the last minute to find a place. They don't see their cruelty to her to be tossing her out. They don't see the hardship they put on the people they are tossing out. Everything. Everything has to be turned around to make them look good even when it is not so good. Even when any non-indocrinated person can see through the holes.

Spin-doctors. And they are so good at it that I suspect most believe it and those that don't. . . they shut up

A gain or reward coming at the last minute is a carrot dangled before a follower. It keeps them hanging on forever waiting for their miracle, whethr it be an ordinary need or the promise of everlasting life on a paradidse earth.

Actually, I pity the 'sister'. She _almost_ had no place to stay - which would have been a good thing. She then would have had to resort to other means... and that may have led to her actually thinking again (perhaps having to get a secuar job) - which may have led her to drift away - ultimately leaving the JWs.

It's alughable that she would have actually went back to Bethel. Nothing could be further from reality, the reality that these Bethelites were not "reassigned," but dismissed from Bethel service.

I wonder how old she is and how long she was there. Does she have enough skills to enter the job market and support herself? I'm sure the Watchtower has no interest in any of these things.

It takes a certain mind-set to read Witness produced literature and appreciate it. I don't have it.

If she were a single sister at bethel, she was mostly likely an RN, chiropractor, pharmacist, or related profession.

This is called propaganda. There is another side of this story, which is the absolute disloyalty the GB showed to those who gave up their entire youth to serve at Bethel and who are now being downsized. Thats a story, and these dismissed ones DO feel betrayed.

But rather then acknowledge real human emotions, the GB would rather trot out absolute garbage like this.
