It came from a guy who must be the PO (or whatever new name they go by now) of the hall that was being remodeled. They apparently turned the whole operation over the the RBC and many were upset that the fans were taken down. What I related is what he said he was told by the RBC. I do know a couple of guys on the RBC, I will ask them if when I get a chance.

It's simple..... Electric fans cost money to run. The Hall doesn't want to waste their money on the electricity to run them.
Let the poor men in suits and ties and the women in long dresses sweat their A$$es off. They don't really care. It's all about money.
