I love flowers - they are a simple yet beautiful sign of affection. That dinner sounds delish too
As for my plans - I have none. My mates and I may hit a club or 2 though and go for a dance. What I do for those in the office is buy some chocolate hearts or something along those lines - it puts a smile on their faces.

I have two older brothers. Both are married. Sorry.
I asked my wife about what she would do if she was caught celebrating Christmas, Birthdays and Valentine's Day ... if she was called into a Judicial Committee. She said she didn't know, but she felt that celebrating holidays shouldn't be a Disfellowshipping offense.
Major breakthrough! This brings tears of joy to my eyes.

I can only hope. She is preparing my upcoming birthday (Feb. 8th) by taking me to a dinner and movie. She even ordered a ice-cream cake from Baskin Robbins (peanut butter and chocolate, my fav!). I'll be 42. *sigh*
Also, I asked what her parents would think about her celebrating holidays and birthdays and she said, "They'll probably be disappointed, but how can they be? They still talk and visit Rhonda?" (her older sister who announced being a lesbian, left her JW husband and was disfellowshipped)
That's a good point. Which is the greater of two evils in the eyes of a JW?

I just volunteered to be a bouncer for a friend's daughter's birthday party.
My wife will be thrilled.
Nobody mentioned it was valentines day.
