I learned about Orgys. My service partner, who was a little older than me, and I knocked at a door (east Vancouver c. 1975-80, we were about 10-15 years old) and a voice told us to come in. We opened the door....to way more than we ever expected to see!!! I'll bet they had good laughs about the expression on our faces!! We got outta there real fast.

I learned about Orgys. Right on man... who knew this thread would be so un-boring.

I learned a lot about people and their views of the world. A few good people tried to have me see the light and planted seeds of rationality and reason. Some people are lonely and invite strangers in for cups of tea and biscuits. Other people love a sounding board for their own theories. Most people just want to be left alone.

I learned that I would rather be somewhere else.

I learned the meaning of hatred...going door to door was where I actually saw hatred on people's faces when they realized I was a JW.

wha happened?
Yea that knocking on someone's door at 9:30am on a weekend is the least likliest way of getting anything across. Eventually I leaned how rude I was for making an unsolicited visit to a strangers home.
