  try to turn internet discussions into their own personal pissing matches. Why? How much can anyone learn and what knowledge can be expanded when posters vest a personal interest in a position, rather than a personal interest in learning? This never has made sense to me.

  If you have evidence that I am wrong, fine. If it is good evidence, it will likely shape my views. What will not shape my views is acting like a nut on a street corner hollering that I'm a sinner and condemned to judgment when the rapture comes. I'll semi politely smirk, raise an eyebrow, and have a good chuckle.

  I agree with your view,some threads become pointless because they are hi-jacked one way or another,now Reniaa is back we'll see a lot more of it.

  I think as well that as soon as someone starts to shout and insult their viewpoint loses all credibility,which is a shame sometimes,as they start out with a valid argument or usefull question and then go and spoil it.
